No*. 900 forks are thinner and longer, with the neck being a bit longer too. Inner fork tube is 45mm (800 is 43mm) and outter tube is 53mm (800 is 55mm). *it could be possible, if you also brought over the triple tree and used the 800's stem. Unsure of inner neck diameter of the 900 at this time. #1.

The Tiger is versatile! It is capable of crossing the country, commuting, scratching around at a track day and riding on some pretty gnarly dirt roads and trails. While the 800 is a Swiss army knife, it is a compromise. The Tiger is a fun street bike that can keep up with most supersport bikes in the hands of a good rider at reasonable speeds.
1) With the engine running (idle) and bike in neutral, and the clutch lever pulled in there isn't a noise or vibration - other than what I'd expect from a running machine. 2) Let go of the clutch in neutral and there is a very slight change in noise - something coming from the gear box like a mild low pitch whirring.
